Grades 3-8

The Hampden Basketball Program offers several levels of Basketball to children Grades 3-8, within various Leagues. The Program has “tryouts’ or Evaluations annually to assist in the placement of players to teams. After evaluation, and based on rating (and number of registered) players are placed on Upper, Middle or Lower Tier teams. .  Upper Tier teams may play in additional tournaments during; Pre-season and Holiday & Winter School Breaks, and usually play additional 8-10 games per season.  Attendance at evalutions is NOT mandatory, but if you choose not to go to evaluations you will automatically be placed in lower division team based on grade/age.   If you are unable to attend evaluations,  you must notify Parks and Recreation  or the Basketball Coordinator PRIOR to evaluations.
