League Descriptions

Pre-K and Kindergarten will participate in our in town instructional league. We use a pitching machine and batting tees and all sessions are designed to introduce the fundamentals of the game of baseball. Sessions are typically 1 day per week starting the end of April if weather permits, and finishes in the middle of June.

Pinto League –

The Pinto League is comprosed of 1st and 2nd graders that compete against teams from Wilbraham. The league is a combined Machine pitch / Kid pitch and is focused on introduction to the game of baseball. There are no playoffs or standings and emphasis is really on Fun and Fundementals.

Eastern League –

All 3^rd and 4^th Graders participate in this three-town league. Each team will play between 16-18 games against teams from Wilbraham and Monson. Further advancements are introduced in the Eastern league with an expanded rulebook. All teams will participate in the end of the season playoff for an overall league champion.

John L Sullivan –

This JLS league is designed for our 5^th and 6^th graders. Typically the teams will participate in the “C” division, which is considered the recreation division. Most games are played in the greater Springfield area including Forest Park and Picknelly field.

Tri-Town –

All 7^th and 8^th grade students participate in the Tri-town league. The league consists of teams from Monson, Wilbraham, East Longmeadow, Ludlow, South Hadley, and Granby. The season starts in the middle of May and concludes in July. All home games are played at the Hampden Memorial Rec Field.
